In 2000, the Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba was moved to the recently vacated Eaton’s building attached to the Town Centre Mall. The 23,000 square foot space was renovated with municipal, provincial, federal, and private sector funds to accommodate a 4300 sq. ft. environmentally controlled exhibition space, a community access gallery and 6 discipline-specific learning/production studios.

Gallery 1C03 is the campus art gallery of The University of Winnipeg. The gallery opened in September of 1986. Our mission is to engage diverse communities through the development and presentation of contemporary and historical art exhibitions and related programming initiatives. The Gallery is also responsible for the development, preservation and presentation of the University's art collection.

The building was constructed in 1908, one year before the Park officially opened, and was replaced with the current structure in 1930 following a fire. In 1998, the Pavilion began presenting free art exhibitions, primarily featuring work by renowned Manitoba artists Ivan Eyre, Walter J. Phillips, Leo Mol, and Clarence Tillenius.
